COVID-19 Office Reopening
June 2020
Over the last few weeks William Coates has been putting all the necessary measures in place to protect staff so that people can return to the office. Our staff have been returning on a carefully managed and staggered basis. We have implemented the following to ensure our employees’ health and wellbeing in accordance with government COVID-19 guidance;
- A COVID-19 Office Risk Assessment has been undertaken and the various control measures identified to reduce the risk of infection amongst staff members have been implemented
- New access / Exit doors have been provided to ensure separation of our departments
- Social distancing screens, stickers, tape, hand sanitising points and social distancing signage has been installed throughout the office
- A daily intensive cleaning regime has been implemented within the office
- Employees have attended a COVID-19 office reopening induction on Microsoft Teams
- Employee health assessments are being undertaken
- Employee Temperature checks are being undertaken
- A staggered rotation has been implemented where 2 teams of staff rotate between the office and home working to reduce the numbers within head office
- Movement of employees within the office is restricted
We continue to monitor the situation and will put the measures I place to ensure that our staff feel safe and well in the office environment.
